John Lennon’s Mind Games album hit the streets October 29, 1973. I’ve had a note to this effect on my calendar all month, and yet find myself unprepared. Also my day was derailed by a lengthy trip to the emergency room. (Everybody’s fine!)
Looking over the track list, I just realized that even though I’m a longtime amateur Beatleologist, and John is my favorite Beatle, I have never heard this record at all aside from the title track. Shocking! I will need to spend some time with it before trying to write anything. Well, it’s been 50 years, what’s another week or two?
We were snorting a lot of coke when this came out. We listened to the song Mind Games over and over. I can’t remember another song off the album, for the life of me.
It looks like the rules I wrote for Mac OSX Mail are working!
so glad you are continuing on. We all shine on
