After putting yesterday’s entry to bed I came across the website of Kathy Etchingham, who was Jimi Hendrix’s on-and-off girlfriend for a good while. She not only confirms that she and Jimi attended the Grapefruit party — at the rather insistent urging of Brian Jones — but provides several photos and numerous details, right down to how uncomfortable the chairs were.
