If you were walking through Knole Park in Kent today you might have seen these four shady characters hanging around:
And you might well have called the police to report a group of preverts who were obviously about to indulge in some preversions there in the park. But in fact these were the members of a famous musical group, The Beatles, working on the promotional film for a new song called “Strawberry Fields Forever.” The finished product would look something like this:
Meanwhile, back in the studio, George and Geoff were making a mono mix of “A Day in the Life.” This mix was for reference purposes only, as the orchestral parts of the songs had yet to be recorded. We shall return to this topic in due time.
