In Paris today, John Lennon and Neil Aspinall — freshly arrived from West Germany — met up with Paul McCartney and Brian Epstein. The agenda of this meeting, if there was one, is unknown, which has led to a thousand conspiracy theories among Paul-replacement believers. I’ve said before and will say again that these theories are idiotic; cute, up to a point, and then deeply annoying. So that’s enough about that.
