Speaking of conspiracy theories, September 1966 is when a lot of “Paul Is Dead” aficionados seem to think that Paul was replaced with an impostor that they call “Faul.”
I’m not sure how deep I want to get into this, because while all the “Paul Is Dead” lore is amusing, there appear to be a lot of people out there who actually believe that crap. For the record, this site will have no truck with the concept that Paul was supplanted by…another genius musician who sounded exactly like him? Please.
During this period The Beatles went their separate ways and pursued their own individual interests and side projects. I’ll be pursuing those threads to the best of my ability, but the trail sometimes gets a little murky. In the meanwhile, it’s a good time to get out and enjoy those last little crumbs of summer.
