After careful consideration I have decided that The Beatles Bible’s entry for today — during which Paul McCartney participates in a bizarre-sounding jam session at John Phillips’ house, boards a plane back to London, and sketches out a preliminary structure for Magical Mystery Tour on a napkin — simply cannot be improved upon. Please head over there and check it out. I will conserve my energies for a time when they are more needed.
